Summary: Jimi Hendrix biographer Steven Roby will give a free lecture on the famous Seattle Guitarist's life and music.
Full Description Starting with Hendrix's birth in 1942, Roby will trace the legend's life through rare photos, video, and audio. Patrons will learn about his R&B days with Little Richard, The Isely Brothers and Ike and Tina Turner, obscure recordings, a drug bust in 1969, and the final hours of his life. There will be a question and answer time after the lecture.
Library events and programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required.
